“New Day Celebration” is about appreciating another day of life on planet earth. David Kessler wrote that your heart beats all night long. It could stop at any time. When you wake up in the morning, it means your little heart beat all night long and you get another day of life. This is how I feel each day. I am grateful for another day of life. This song is a celebration of that new day.

The cover of the single is a photo that I took on our road trip when we were leaving Death Valley. We were on a 1,400 mile road trip through California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona. We had amazing experiences and saw some of the most beautiful country. “Wandering” is a piece about travel and exploring and the feeling a person gets when they are free of the normal everyday routine of life. The song is relaxing and soothing and brings about a dreamy state.

“Hand in Hand” is about love, family and faith. It is about compassion and empathy. It is about comforting those who are in need. It could be a parent holding a child’s hand or it could be two lovers holding hands.

“Country is not my usual composing or playing style. However, on the morning that I composed “Easy Country Living,” I got into a country groove. I was in a really good mood and I started playing some Floyd Cramer licks over a left hand ostinato bass line. It came together very easily and in a very short period of time. I have always admired the Nashville sound that Floyd Cramer helped to create with his “slip note” piano style.”

“Waltz Like There’s No Tomorrow,” was released on July 1, 2019.5. Walts single coverIt is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and Pandora Radio

“Waltz Like There’s No Tomorrow” is a classically oriented piece of music in three quarter or waltz time. The song is about letting go and dancing with wild abandon. This is not your grandma’s waltz. This is a powerful piece that inspires intentional movement with a like minded partner. It’s also about not caring what anyone thinks. It’s going for it.
